This project was designed as part of a university brief to create a publication based on a collection of objects.

 

The book documents a collection of feathers found around Cambridge over a three-day period. The feathers were both scanned-in and photographed, then categorized by size, type, and bird. The design reflects the limited greyscale palette of the feathers. Especially for the cover design, I chose a typeface that reflects the expressive form of the feathers.
